SHOP policies + FAQ
I make every piece of jewelry entirely by hand, from start to finish, in my home studio.
I make one-of-a-kind & limited batch jewelry. This means few designs will be offered more than once, and multiples are produced in small batches until the design is retired.
All jewelry listed in my shop is available & ready to ship.
In-person events are the best way to shop my new work & see the full selection of my inventory, as I only update my shop with new listings sporadically.
I usually deactivate my shop during in-person craft shows & update my inventory afterward.
Measurements are approximate & rounded to the nearest 1/16β.
RETURNS/repairs
Please shop mindfully, with the understanding that your purchase is final sale.
If your piece arrives damaged, or breaks so shortly after purchase that you suspect a material defect, please notify me as soon as possible.
If your piece breaks due to long term wear or an accident, please contact me for a repair quote.
Contact me to arrange a fresh application of patina to your oxidized jewelry.
If you purchased my work through one of my stockists, your purchase will fall under their shop policy.
That said, I want you to be happy & I am not unreasonable. Please contact me if you are unsatisfied.
SIZING
Please do not buy a ring with the expectation that I will resize it after the fact. If a ring contains a stone setting needs to be resized, I may send you to a jeweler who has a laser. They are able to resize rings more efficiently with less risk to the stone.
If you are unsure of your ring size, please request a complimentary mail-away sizer OR see me at an in-person event for a proper sizing.
The exception to this rule is if a ring is one of multiple, I can swap out an unworn ring for a different in-stock size IF I have your desired size in stock. I cannot guarantee making additional of any limited batch items, but I will permitting I have the materials in stock. You will be responsible for covering shipping costs.
Handmade chain bracelets and necklaces can be resized easily, please contact me to arrange that. Cost may vary from complimentary & up, depending on the scope.
Jewelry CARE
It is generally recommended that you do not sleep, swim, sweat, or shower in your jewelry.
Oxidized silver jewelry will naturally polish up over time with touch & wear, especially in the high spots. The change in appearance will depend on the frequency of wear & your unique body chemistry. It can be preserved by adhering to best jewelry care practices.
Matte silver jewelry can oxidize over time, especially if it sits in your jewelry box unworn. This type of oxidation does not damage the piece and can be gently removed with a polishing cloth.
Custom jewelry containing mineral crystal is extremely durable but not impervious to breakage, and must be kept dry.
Signet rings are hollow-constructed, not cast, and therefore vulnerable to denting.
That said, I make jewelry that is meant to be worn and I recommend embracing the process.

Do you do Custom Work?
I welcome requests for custom work. I accept custom projects based on my interest & availability. Please fill out my contact form with a detailed description of your request & budget. Custom work is final sale.
How do custom projects work?
First, you contact me with as much detail as possible about your custom request, and I will reply with any questions. To reduce extraneous back & forth, please include your idea, budget, timeline, metal choice, and any other pertinent details. If I can accept, we will move forward with an agreed upon timeline, price, and design. A non-refundable 50% deposit is due before I begin, and the rest is due upon delivery. If you feel intimidated by custom work, please know that it is for everyone!
Do you recycle metals?
I often recycle customer gold to make something new, but this is a labor intensive process. Depending on the design, it can cost as much in labor as it saves in material. For this reason, I typically recycle gold more for sentimental purposes, and less as a cost saving method. I do not offer cash for scrap metal or unwanted jewelry.
If you are a goldsmith, Why is your work is silver?
Goldsmith is actually my last name, which is very cool but can cause some confusion. I love working in gold, but itβs not financially feasible for me to stock gold jewelry. For now, gold is for custom work only.
Do you do repairs?
I do not typically take on repairs for jewelry that was not made by me. Occasionally, I will accept a creative alteration or repair project that is within my purview. It never hurts to ask!
